The day looks cloudy and rainy. As I have said, we need rain so desperately that it is very poor form to complain about it.
While I was volunteering at the hospital yesterday, I saw a family of geese. They had four goslings. The geese parents very diligently care for their babies. The male was actively patroling the area to ward off interlopers which I saw him do. He very vigorously chased away four geese that wanted to check out the pond.
At the same time, there was a rabbit running through the area. The rabbit did not seem to merit the goose's attention. It was a treat to watch the wildlife as I performed my volunteer duties.
