As promised here are two pictures of my most recent flower pot pin cushion. Just to give you an idea of the size of the pot, it is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the top and about 3/4 inch high. There is nothing in the pictures to give you an indication of its scale.

It looks like another beautiful day today. Next Wednesday we plan to go to the state fair. Yes, we will bring the small camera along. But I fear that the pictures will make the fair look disappointing. It was originally an agricultural exposition but now the agricultural implements dealers and manufacturers are a very small presence. There are displays of produce including flowers and flower arrangements. It is very commercial but the merchants are not artists or craftspeople. There are interesting displays of sewing, needlecrafts, woodworking, and other hobbies.
