Here is my valentine to you, a bright red cardinal that we saw in the trees yesterday. Today we have some bright red, very sweet, and terribly out-of-season strawberries. Yesterday I picked out my valentines in the grocery store, a grapefruit, a container of Simply Orange orange juice, a half gallon of chocolate milk, and some semi-sweet baking chocolate.The answer is yes, I do eat baking chocolate instead of chocolate bars.
Today I am making Roger his valentine, a couple loaves of gingerbread.
It was not intended to be a valentine but my early sign of spring, a pink hyacinth, is blooming. But more importantly, it started to scent the room Friday.
Did you notice? I just realized that my Olympic Stitching projects all have a shade of red or pink.
