This is the top of a Christmas stocking. I need to have it finished by 1 November. I hope that I can do it.
Except for the lettering, the top is very laborious and tedious work. I hope that the remainder stitches quickly. On the Fourth of July, I stitched the red and white in the upper band. It seemed fittingly appropriate to stitch red and white on blue on the Fourth. I finished that segment.
Yesterday I stitched in "Merry Christmas" and the beginning of the lower red and white band.

Very pretty Linda, but that checkerboard effect really must be a pain to stitch
