After not seeing any mice in the house for several days, we thought we had gotten past the time they try to get in.  Last night, or rather this morning sometime before 4:00 a.m., Mooch caught another mouse.  I think we need to check the traps in the garage and refresh the bait.  


Last week brought strange weather to us.  Based upon the extremely low barometric pressure, we experienced a category 3 land based hurricane.  The wind was so strong, I could actually lean back into to it as I walked.  We also had the first hard frost last week.  We are now pulling all the annual plants out of the gardens and cutting back the perennials that need to be cut back for the winter.
